COVID-19 Waiver
academy of pole has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, academy of pole cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. You are also personally responsible to yourself and others for reducing the spread of COVID-19.
We recommend that you try to maintain a two metre social distance before, during and after class.
Rugby College are encouraging everyone to wear a face covering when inside. You may remove the face covering when inside the Dance Studio, as it is not recommended to wear a face covering whilst exercising.
On arrival to class, please wash your hands with soap & water for a minimum of 20 seconds or use hand sanitiser. There are toilets on the right hand side before you enter the Dance Studio.
The windows will be open in the Dance Studio for ventilation. The door may also be open for extra ventilation.
Class sizes are a maximum of ten people with five poles. All five poles will be set up for every class to minimise sharing in classes that are not fully booked. If you are sharing a pole, if possible, please share with the same person each time you both attend. If you wish to book onto a class which is likely to be fully booked and you do not want to share a pole, please contact us to book two spaces so that we can ensure you do not need to share.
We can spot you in class if you wish to be spotted.
A spray and clean cloth are provided for cleaning the pole between turns. Other cleaning products are also provided for cleaning the mats/floor between turns if required.
We have a five minute break between classes to allow for cleaning between classes and for social distancing between those leaving and those arriving to class.
Our equipment (e.g. poles & mats) will be deep cleaned on a regular basis (usually a minimum of twice a week). The Dance Studio is cleaned by Rugby College.
If you or anyone in your household or bubble have any symptoms of COVID-19 and/or have tested positive, please follow the Government rules on self-isolating. Please cancel any affected bookings on Gymcatch as soon as possible and let us know if you are self-isolating. Normal cancellation rules apply. Your details may be provided to the Government for contact tracing if someone who has tested positive has been to class and you have been a close contact.
